Hello!
I'm proud to say (after months of indecision) that I've put an order in for a new K100D!
I went back and forth, first between the decision to go super-zoom P&S vs. DSLR, and then between the Nikon D50 and the K100D. The K100D won me over in the end. I had the opportunity to play around with a couple of them in stores, and it seems like an awesome camera.
I ordered the camera with the kit lens, which is still at a really good deal from beach camera ($552 - only $502 after the $50 rebate). I also picked up a 150X 2gb SD card and a nice Tamrac explorer case (tamrac explorer 1).
I can't wait to get this camera and start shooting. I've been lurking around these boards for a few weeks and I'm also excited to be a part of this community.
