I took this on a highway overpass near my home. It was a 10 second exposure on F18. I used my Gorilla Pod to wrap around the guard rail. It was taken just after sunset on a cloudy night.

When you look at on coming traffic it appears that they need to resurface 696 Eastbound as there is wavy movement in the light trails. Oh well that's Detroit for you.

Hi Speezer9999,
Nice shot, i'v always loved this effect.
I think you picked the best time of day too, whenever i'v tried this it's always been too dark and there is no other features in the shot, its nice to see the silhouettes of the trees in yours.
Those wavey lines are nothin compared to the roads over here (England) think yaself lucky!

I love the fact that the road is not a two-way street - red lines on one and white lines on the other side! Gives it a great balance!
