I came across this on ebay and I was thinking about getting it.
$190.00 for two lenses makes me start to wonder.

I know, I know I Should save up for a 70-200 F2.8L but I just won't ever have the kind of money for a long time! I just want to get people's opinion on what they think about this package and if these lens are worth it. I have two lenses. the 17-40mm F4L and the 50 F1.8.

Reason for the 70-300mm, I want to do nature photography. Close ups of birds and what not.

Reason for the 28-70mm, I want a nice indoor lens I know a higher aperture would help but I think the F2.8 Will do.

I had a Sigma 17-70mm lense when I used my APS-C sized DSLR and I really liked that lense.
It was sharp, responsive and felt good to use.

That deal sounds reasonably good. The cost of the 28-70mm is almost the cost of both of the lenses.
There is a review of the 70-300mm on photozone.de. It's rather technical, as most of the reviews are, but gives a good idea in the roundup review at the end of the page as to what they thought of it.
