Lens Question: DA 12-24

Does anyone out there have any experience to share about the Pentax 12-24 mm, f/4, ED, AL. I am thinking I want to spring for such a wide angle; and, of course I value my fellow photographers at DPS. The reviews seem to be positive on this lens.

She has an extensive kit of Pentax glass, the 12-24mm among them. That may help.

Not to mention, she's d*mn good!! Very talented.
