date format

Hello everyone. I recently brought my first digital camera , a Fujifilm FinePix S5600. We have just retuirned from India and it was a brilliant camera!!! For me at least, maybe in a year or so I'll upgrade to a digital SLR. My problem is with the FinePixViewer software. The camera settings has the date format of DD/MM/YYYY, but when I download the pictures using the FinePixViewer software, the date format used for naming the files changes to YYYY_MMDD. I can't seem to find any way to change it to my prefferred format, although it is quite likely staring me in the face!!! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Dave, I'm not sure if we are the best place to look for this. I'd recommend checking the forum or help on Fujifilm's website for their software. Having not used this software myself that's about the best place I could think to direct you. Good luck.
