I took this with my new Sigma 150mm f2.8. It has been cropped and processed. Looking for feedback. The link takes you to a larger image.
Thanks
Jeff

I love that slide into the base. Great action. I like the color.
What kind of processing did you do? What ISO, shutter speed, f-stop?

Very nice shot. I too, am interested in the EXIF, and the camera used. It looks like it was shot at high ISO-right?

I added EXIF and switched to a direct link (we prefer direct links to attachments). Check out the PBase wiki (http://pbasewiki.srijith.net/) for more info on direct linking from there.
Please take a moment to read though our critique rules as well (linked in my sig): we ask posters to include questions to help guide the critique.
Personally, I think it needs a tighter crop and wider aperture.

If it were pro sports, I'd probably go with a tighter crop, but seeing as how it's little league, it's probably just as cool to see the parents in the background. It depends on what you're wanting to do with the photo. If it's going to go on the kid's wall, I'd crop it so that all extraneous subjects are removed. If you're wanting to document the event, the way you have it might be just fine; or maybe just a little bit of minimal cropping.

Thank you for the comments and the help with the direct link.
I had not considered the tighter crop. I am the team "photographer" for my son's team, so I am trying to capture the feel for the game and as many of the players as I can.
What is the opinion of balancing the crop versus print size. This image is cropped for an 8X10 print.
Thanks

Even though it's Little League I think it needs a tigheter crop, even if it's just to get rid of the empty space above the first row of fan's heads. That would make the focus be more on the play.

What a great shot! You captured the dust flying up as the player was sliding into the plate as well as the ball in mid air. I love the action in this photo! The colors are great too (I really like the red especially).
I agree with Waffles about cropping just above the fan's heads to focus more on the play. I really like that you included the fans, etc. to capture the feel of the whole game. Really, a great memory!!

Great shot! Good timing, clarity, and composition. Love the colors and dust flying! I think the shot could go both ways - tight crop or as is - depending on what it's for.

Thank you to everybody that made comments. It is these types of comments that make us all better photographers. To be honest a large part of this picture was luck.
