Trying picnik for the first time.
This is what I started with.

After adjustments

Speezer9999,
Like John Wayne might have taken it on location. Rare to see a mirror image; this was such a good decision. Just enough of everything . . . would you recommend picnik?
Nice work - I think it is definitely much improved by what you have done with it.
Out of interest, why did you decide to flip it horizontally?

Jiminy, yes I would recommend Picnik. It works well for a free program that doesn't require you to download anything to your harddrive. (This way I can do edits while I'm at work.)
Wulf, I'm not sure why I flipped it. Just did it during the editing and, though I can't figure out why, I liked it better.
If anyone can tell me I would appreciate it.
Thanks for the comments.

Speezer9999,
For whatever reason psychologically (maybe because we read left to right), items/lines in a photo that lead up and right have a more positive feel. So down and left pointing subjects, not as good. Compare the clouds in first photo.

Since we are an international community, presumably with people who read in directions other than left to right in their native tongues, it would be interesting to get some worldwide perspective on that!
Opinions of sinstrals and dextrals also welcomed (left- and right-handed people).

I've also noticed the thing Jiminy talks about, and I'm also curious to know if people with different reading background have a different impression...
