Another shot I did. Used radial blur on photoshop and other things to it to make it pop out.

Excellent. Not over done, imo. It's interesting that you decided to layer up several copies of your hands and the top of your head vs. your entire body. Makes it seem like you are lunging downwards towards the viewer. I have often wondered whether or not there was a way to capture this straight from the camera, but everytime I try to "manually" create a zoom blur, it throws everything off - even when practically bolted the earth with a heavy tripod.

I thought that you to this by turning your lens while the shutter is open.

I think you would have achieved an even better version had you got his feet in, but this works fine for me. I generally try to stay away from alterations like this, but yours works well.
Great blue in the sky too.

I think if you used a flash while using a tripod, it would make better use of this technique. I've never tried it, but it sounds right in theory (at least, in my head).
