So basically this is how it was done.

- I set up my lighting system so that I have light in front and behind me. Both lights had umbrellas to diffuse the light.

- I stood by a mirror and my wife took two sets of shots (actually she took 50 odd shots to get the desired effect, but you know what I mean).

- Once I got the shots it was on to photoshop. I put the two photos that I thought were the best and put them on top of each other to get them layered.

- Then I lassoed out the the half of the top image I wasn't using to bring out the bottom layer.

- I erased the edges of the top layer with a feathered brush to give make it seamless. I did this with a pen tablet.

- I flattened the shot and put a hard light glow on it.

Now I like the way this came out. But as I look at it I see potential for more.
Is there anything I could have done differently or is there anything that I could have added.

Thanks for you comments in advance.

sagelike31,

Top and bottom crops are fine; did you see how all four eyes looked before choosing to cut half away of outer two? Or does this add to the title/look? I have no way to tell.

Did you try a shift in tone or adding green or noise to your alter-ego?

It is effective as is and as far as I can see, well-done. Are you loving the Pen and Tablet?

I love it! The lighting is nice. But I would like to see the rest of your eyes...

Yeah the eyes thing was something that I saw I should have done differently in hindsight.

All looking the same direction. But I wasn't going back to reshoot it.

I added color to the angry side but it looked too pasted on. I wanted to keep the look of an actual twin next to me so I decided to go without it.

Loving the pen tablet. Did this shot with it also.

Hope to do more.
