Hola TSB
I can barely spell critique much less give one lol, but I did want to say I like what you did by placing the sheet music on the guitar body. The only thing I see is that you might want to consider how it goes over the trim on the verry edge of the insterment maybe try putting it just up to the edge it will look a little neater...did u use Photo Shop? I'm just learning myself they sure give u a lot of ways to do one thing, lol.

I like the idea of overlaying the music on the guitar.

One thing I notice is that several of the lines seem oddly skewed, particularly the guitar frets. Was the underlying shot of the guitar at an angle? If so, you might want to distort the music to fit the same perspective unless you deliberately want that effect.

I agree with Wulf. It is definitely a cool idea, but the staves should be skewed to match the angle of the frets.

And nitpicking WAY too much... it seems like the letters right to the right of the fortissimo dynamic are going off the guitar slightly onto the bindings. Again, nitpicking!

First glance and honestly I thought it was a neat guitar that had sheet music overlayed on it. No, not a picture - I thought the guitar actually had that. Then I stared some more and it became a little like an Escher drawing because the music was straight and the guitar was angled. :) The idea is beautiful! And the colors are great - but maybe I'd smooth out the backdrop a bit. I love the feel, I love the colors.

I think itīs a neat effect, althou I didnīt get if you actually shoot the pic yourself.

Any ways, the arm and the strings are in an angle and the body in another... It shows something... not sure what it is yet :p but it can have a lot of uses as advertising something

Is that what you were going to?

This is an excellent shot. The color tone of the guitar is very warm and inviting. That's the first thing I noticed.

But I also like the contrast between the guitar and your background!

The only thing you need to play around with more, and this is not a criticism, is the composition and framing.

i'm not sure how the flash was positioned on this shot but i would have loved to see all six strings, and maybe a "chromy" effect on strings 1 and 2. the sheet music is an excellent addition. wulf makes a good point, but unless you wanted it that way... also, i would crop the sheet music layer up to the guitar line borders. some of it is going over the lines, and i probably would have used multiply for the blending layer, opacity to taste, to make the sheet music seem like it was part of the sound board. but that's just me ^_^

otherwise, it is an excellent idea and an excellent shot.
