que hora es? What time is it in this photo? This photo has had noadjustments other than a bit of sharpening. No cheating by looking at the exif. Closest guess gets... um... a ... super mega mystery prize!

If this is a trick question, I'd have to say around 1. As in, The road goes around 1 mountain.:D

If you want a real guess, I'd have to say, it's noon. By looking at the shadows.

Liz Caldwell,

Did you do a sneaky long-exposure-3 AM-with-bright-moon shot?

1 second exposure, f/5.6 @ ISO 100 hmmmm

I say something crazy like 12am

Ah, Jiminy gave hints! NOw I actually gotta find a prize!!

I believe that makes TomTom our winner! You were quite shy on the exposure time, but since I was only looking for a time, you're still a winner! As Jiminy said, I used a long exposure and the moon was bright and full, creating the shadows. It was taken at 10:32 PM, and was a 6 minute exposure.

Guess you don't need the sun to get a great daytime shot, lol :)

Here's another shot taken about the same time.

24/7 photography. All you need is a good tripod and pray there are no earthquake tremors.

I call a foul!! I demand a recount!! Oh wait, there wasn't a vote. How about a lifetime ban from DPS? No, to harsh. Blood test for steroids? No, to many ways to cheat that one also. He can never be aloud in the DPS hall of Fame? No, to harsh again. I know, Let's send him back to Math class!! That way, when he does cheat again, at least it will be done correctly!:D

Nice shot Liz. I can't wait for the weather to get better around here so I can try one of these extreme nighttime shots I've been seeing here at DPS. Thank You! Very inspirational.:)

Uh huh... notice, no response from the suspect! Is that an admission of guilt? I think SO! No no, I kid... Perhaps he just misread my first post, thought I said "Cheat! by looking at the exif" :p

I think the only fair answer is... NO Prize for You! Too bad... I had just gotten the keys to the Delorean for you... tisk tisk... :D:p

Thanks DigiDave, you make me blush! I call that second shot "Green in the Valley of Brown" It was taken in "The Bad Lands" of Moreno Valley. Moreno in Spanish means "brown", and normally the valley is appropriately named, brown as brown can be. It was nice to see all the green.... Anyway... just a random fact...
