Apple Blossom

It is spring time in Las Vegas. My apple tree is flowering. What do you think of this pictures Color, lighting, and Composition?

I really like the way the stamens seem to 'hold the stage' in the shot-the light seems to be in exactly the right place to highlight them-framed by the leaves.

I'm freezing here in PA. I'd love to see these blossoms in my yard!

Compositionally, I might crop a bit off the left side and bottom to put the blossom a little more to the lower left and following the rule of thirds. The dof is nice, but I think the stamens could be a little more in focus. I do like the way they are highlighted against the oof green background.

I really like this, but I think the colors look a bit dull right now. All I would do is just play around with the color saturation a bit so the greens are a bit greener, the pink is a little pinker.. The picture is a bit soft, but I think it makes it look a bit romantic..

Hope you like the crop you made; it does bring better attention to the blossom. When you're framing your next shot, think about moving to a position where there are no OOF petals or leaves in front of your intended subject. Behind, yes, perfect for background. In front, distracting.
