I took this one this afternoon. I did some cropping and change the color to sepia. Please let me know what you guys think!

i like how the statue gets modeled by the light.....:)

i'm not sure what all distractions might have been around it, but, i think it could have been better featured in a portrait crop....cuz, my eye keeps wanting to look past the rest of the frame to see the whole piece....

from looking at your exif, i see that you had a bit of maneuvering room with your depth of field......although most of the piece is in focus, the wings fall out of the field.....

the sepia treatment suits the smooth surface of your subject very well....

Like peeperita said, the lighting for this is excellent. I like the sepia idea, but I think you need to go a little more gold/brown with it. My first glance at the photo make me think it was a white balance problem.

Thanks for your input... I think that black&white may had been a better idea... and yes, the background was very distracting. Can you check and comment a portrait of my son in the portrait critique section?
