Ok I didnt know where this one would fit in so I put I put it here. Let me give a short background on this photo. Last Memorial Day my brother and I were playing around with some bubbles that I brought to a picnic and we found out that if you blow a big bubble and then blow into it you can get smaller bubbles on the inside. It was later in the evening where the sun was down far enough behind the trees that I didnt need a flash but was still light enough to take these. I had the camera on Auto because up until now thats all I ever used because I still didnt understand my camera that much.

I like the pictures alot, I love the sense of motion you get from the bubble he is blowing into. But sometimes when I look at the picture my eyes are drawn to the houses in the background. I know enough about photoshop now that I think I can clone out the power line running through the tree but I am now sure what to do with such a large portion of the picture being houses.
Does anyone else find that you can quit staring at the houses?

And about the colors on the bubble,do they look washed out on one side?

Thanks in advance, slowly learning here!!! You guys are great!!

I think you did a nice job with the exposer and f-stop selection. I think this image could have worked better if you where on a ladder shooting down which would give the image a more child like impression while keeping the background uniform and non distracting (just grass).

Yeah I kind of took this on the fly so prep for the shot was not an option we were just kind of playing around with the kids bubbles. I did take about 30 shots while we were out there and another one I like but I think backgrounds are kind of distracting.
Another Bubble Photo (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2340/2316923509_da9e8e7062_b.jpg)
But with that one I think its too out of focus and the bubble kind of loses itself in the sky on the corner.
