Here is my quick attempt at attempting the Lomo effect in photoshop. I threw this together in a few minutes but would like to know what anyone thinks about composition and the post-production in photoshop. I don't use photoshop much at all but I really want to learn!
edit...this is my first post here, sorry if I doesn't quite meet all of the requirements. I will include more info in my next submission.

We need a bit more info please - camera, lens and exposure details would be helpful. I've also resized this to fit our 600px max rule and moved it to the post-processing critique section since you ask particularly about that aspect of the resulting image.

Your vignette is way too pronounced. Unless you saved this original I don't think you're going to be able to fix it.
How exactly did you create your vignette? So I or someone else could lend you a tip on how to make it more subtle and give it a real lomo-effect feeling.
I rather like the pronounced effect, focusing on the subject, although it is too stark for a lomo feel. The same could be said of the sharpness although the overall colouration is good. It might be worth trying again with a more subtle hand.

Thanks for the feedback, I just grabbed the lasso tool and made a rough circle around the turtle and went to town. I used a tutorial I found in the forums and this is what I ended up with.

Try feathering your selection after you use the laso too crop in a little closer to the turtle and create a little blur and you got it :)

tabbott, Welcome
Lomo sort of overshadows your turtle, and it got lost in the grass some. It turns out to be very colorful, and another kind of edit can bring that out. I did reverse your vignette, which is not quite a frame and distracts in a more natural setting.
