I think this works well in black and white. What do you think? What are your thoughts on the composition and crop?

I'm sure this is one of the gang who trashed my tree the other day! I wonder what it looked like in colour? Also wonder what it would look like a little further back? The focus and contrast on the wings is good but I would like to see more of the face I think. All easier said than done but just a thought.

nice capture, todd......i have enjoyed all of your wildlife images displayed here so far....

the framing is a bit tight.....but, not unacceptable.....and there is a bit of detail lost in the shadows.....especially around the area of his right torso and leg.....his "business" though, is just a winking at me....
