Woah, that's bright. Hold on while I grab my sunglasses. Very nice work bringing out the yellow and red throughout the flower.

The bright middle of the day sunlight works very well with your subject because the crisp shadows help to convey a sense of depth with the pedals and the center of the flower.

The composition is very nice too, keeping the center of the flower on a ROT intersection, and not letting anything distracting show up in the background.

Beautiful shot and composition. I love the shadow on the little bit of background showing, and the colors are vivid. So, I ended up critiquing your shot in the Share Your Shot section, and here in the critique section I don't have much to offer as critique. Hope that's OK! :)

Superb detail/texture. Vivid and so interesting to view-can almost 'feel' the flower through the screen.Bueno!
