I took this shot on a piece of tinfoil with a Canon Rebel XTi and a macro lens.

i think some things look better in color and others b&w really does justice or enhances the image somehow. I personally would like to have seen this in color in this image. I do like the DoF and how the sharpest point is in the background.

I would have been more able to distinguish them as peppers if they are coloured. Butthat's just me. :)

Yeah... I agree with the others... I am sure these little beauties would look absolutely fantastic in their natural colour :)
Also I think the fruit that is out of focus in the foreground is steeling too much of the image away from the lovely fruit behind it.

That said, I like the shine the metal gives the fruit.... if you had this pic in colour does the foil show up silver on the subject? (just asking because in b&w it looks good :) )

I would like it better if the out of focus front fruit were filling less of the foreground.
If you had taken the shot so the tip of the stem, on the focused pepper, showing it would bring your eye down to the pepper more.
I too would like colour... but what about selective colour? Just colour on the in-focus pepper, or a slight colour hint on all of them?
