Common Acronyms

Thought it would be good to have a list of common acronyms that I've seen on other forums or around flickr pertaining to photography

Tv - shutter speed priority mode
Av - aperture priority mode

FPS = Frames Per Second
DPI = Dots Per Inch

SP - Shutter Priority
AP - Aperture Priority

ISO/ASA - International Standards Association/American Standards Association

translates to film speed, or sensitivity of the CCD

CCD - Charged Coupled Device, the image sensor at the heart of your camera

A couple I've run into on dpreview's boards:

IQ = image quality
FL = focal length
FOV = field of view (and HFOV = horizontal field of view)
PP = post processing
FF = full-frame/front-focus
BIF = birds in flight (lot of birders on dpreview)
MLU = mirror lock-up
WB = white balance
USM = unsharp mask

Oh, wait. The google-fu it is mine. So much simpler.
