well, you definitely got the focus on the ice.....everything else...the rim of the glass and the background are softly out of the way.....

so, how did you get the blues?

Crazy blue! I've been staring at your image for over a minute and I've all of a sudden become really thirsty. If that was your intention, it's definitely working. Good stuff.

I think the blue came from the drink, I just added the flash because it was too dark. Maybe i will post another picture without the flash :) in another thread. since I'm not sure if it will belong here :)..

This is a great shot, the more you look at it the more you see. Was it just a spur of the moment shot or did you set up in anyway? A minor increase in depth of field might have been something to consider, at least compare against. That said I love how just the small part of the ice is in focus.

I was bored during the weekends so i decided to experiment with this :) ..I'm not sure if you consider this a set up because i just took the drink and a glass of ice..:D..and this came out :p
