Well, this is the last picture that I have for What Would You Do, so, if you're interested in this thread continuing, here's what I need: A link to a medium and large size of a picture that you'd be willing to let people edit. Just send me a PM letting me know it's for WWYD.

This week's picture is from windrider86:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/alockintime/2209642332/" title="meting 034 (by windrider86)"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2345/2209642332_87367e8a04.jpg" title="meting 034 (by windrider86)" alt="meting 034 (by windrider86)" width="375" height="500" /></a>

Available larger (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2345/2209642332_87367e8a04_b.jpg)

The rules are simple. Edit the picture, come back and post your results and tell us what you did. That's it! And fingers crossed we get a picture or two for next week :) Now, let's see what you would do!

Had abit of fun with this one .
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jujitsu1/2281777119/" title="car crashes by welshdarren, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3240/2281777119_8d57170387.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="car crashes" /></a>
First I found a car crash site and copied two photos.
2. Deleted the background of them and altered the colours of both cars.
3. Shirk them down to look abit more realistic and moved them to look like there just crashed.

ok ok I know I submitted this and beleive me the picture that i am submitting to fix my picture is something I would really really do. lol
Ok so first thing I did was to find a picture of Godzilla. Traced around with lasso tool set edge seeker and 1 feather. Copied, pasted as a new layer. I wanted him to look a little 3-d so I added a drop shadow. Next I used the lasso tool and made a selction on the bridge where I wanted Zilla to be underneath. Copied and pasted as a new layer and put that off to the side. Did the same with the steam. Zilla edges werent quite so smooth (ok and stilla rent) took the smudge tool and tried to smooth them out.
Now I selected the layer with ol Godzilla and moved him into a spot where i thought it would look if he were realy coming over the bridge. Selected the bridge layer and moved that over him and aligned the edges. Chose the smoke layer and put that into place. Merged layers.
duplicted layer and cloned some smoke so it looked like it was coming around his mouth. Traced around an airplane pic witht he same setting witht he lasso tool. Copied and pasted as a new layer and placed where I liked it.
It still looke da little blah so i thought a goofy cow would accent this realistic setting. Same steps as above including the drop shadow. Merged all layers. Buned ol Godzilla a little bit cause he was looking to bright and shiny and oh yea painted him a red eye

Not as cool as the others, much more mundane. I rotated it 10 degrees CCW. Cropped it, but to get the angle I wanted I had to clone in more highway at the bottom, on the right and a touch on the left. Then I played with curves until I got something I liked color wise. The part that was new for me was 'creating' more road to extend the composition.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3278/2292637806_2fbc533b40.jpg

- cropped out everything to the right of the larger pole
- cloned out the two smaller poles
- selectively saturated the road
- liquified the road
- liquified the sun flare
- liquified the bigger pole, thinking it would look like a tree, but it looks like a cliff instead.
- posterized (I'm addicted to this effect, sadly)

Overall, I was going for changing the road to water and creating an abstract seascape.

That was fun!

Larger smoke: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3143/2297408083_1a7179c7b3_b.jpg

Inspired by the smoke, and finally finding time to play:

- Flipped original, cropped away excess
- Cloned poles and cloud away
- Added a negative layer, contrasted and darkened
- Added female dream figure into smoke
- Added vignette to further suggest evening
