A random I shot at the skate park recently. I wasn't sure about posting this as ordinarily I would say it was a waaaay sub-par shot for me. But this is the 3rd time I've been back to it. Something about the blur and the movement and even the complicated background gives this cool feel of the whole skating thing. Saturday afternoon in the sun...

The thumb chop is a bit of a pain but it's in camera, so nothing to be done about it. I tried to amplify the feel I was going for doing a vintage PP on it.

What do you think of it? Color, comp and feel CC please :)

It looks like he just fell off his board, which is why your composition didn't come out as planned. I like what you were going for though. You'd have in moving on his board on the left side of the frame with plenty of space for him to move into.

this is what i call a great enviromental image.....it's all about the action of the fallen skater in relation to the activities surrounding him.....

although the angle is dramatic and adds energy to the image....i would suggest....if there's room to.....and bit of a rotation to the crop....

thanks for sharing
