I shot this at my local airport. There is a group of these aircraft called the Condor Squadron. I love the lines and strength that they exude. Comments most welcome.

I think the colors are kind of dull and have you considered converting this to black and white?

I think the same as Murtasma. Image has dull colors. Angle is pretty good though. A nice black and white with nice contrast will do the trick.
Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely will try a B&W conversion.

I tried a little play and it was a tricky set of colors to play with and get any real definition. Here's a color and BW:

Your post with the edited colors looks much better. I still think overal the photo is a little bland. This is probably because there's not a lot of contrast between the body of the plane and the sky. If it hadn't been a cloudy day, I think this would have come out with a lot more contrast.

Yep, the sky is just too grey - any editing doesn't really affect it. So to really make an impact you'd need to selectively edit some color into the sky probably and then play with the whole image again.

fxmixer, Welcome

Wondering about how this might look in flight, and playing off the reflection of the sky in the skin, I tried to leave only the aircraft in view, against a similar sky. Would anyone be fooled?

I would be. The elevators are full stick forward. The tail should be whipping over the pilots head causing *something* to need a good blurring. :D

I B&W conversion emphasizing contrast works rather well. After adjusting levels in CS3 I used Image Adjustments, Black & White... and moved the sliders to make the rear stripes good and dark and give some character to the reflections off the fuselage. Give it a try.

I would be fooled :P.... I really like the angle and crop of the original shot. I do agree the sky is a little dull and once again JiminyClickit's version is amazing lol. I really like the shot though. Nice job!
