Hong Kong Harbour

This photo was taken from the Kowloon side of HK harbour. There was a lot of low lying fog which gave the scene a very eerie atmosphere that I have tried to capture in the shot. There are a few things I like such as the glow around the top of the IFC (tallest building on left) and the overall composition. However I'm not sure I've got the colours quite right and as the photo was taken in a hurry there is some camera shake evident.

Critique and advice would be welcome, either on how I could improve this in PP or things to consider if I am ever lucky enough to go back with more time!

Hi fletch

Not too bad but just a couple of suggestions in terms of PP.

1) straightening
2) sharpening
3) cool down the color

I have taken the liberty to give it a try (I hope you don't mind):

I guess for shots like this one, a tripod would definitely help (if you have one with you) and you could also play around with different W/B settings to get different effects.

Much happier now. This highlights the benefits of shooting in RAW over straight to JPEG. Just wish I could go back and not shake the camera!!
