Hey all,
This will be the last photo i post for critique until i get a new one i'd like critiqued.
This was taken on the same day as the other picture 'I sea rocks', i like this photo the most of the three i've posted, i just wanted to see what everyone else thought, and what i could do better.
The only thing that annoys me with this picture is the Hill in the top right, it is covered by shadow alot and isn't very appealing to the eyes.
Other than that, my eyes don't see much wrong.

Hi roll.4.life,
Beautiful photo...at this point in the season, I think it would be nice to be in a place like this; if only for a day.
I'm confused that you shot this with f/3.6. Seems like it would have been more blurred out there. That leads me to ask what you focused upon and why you chose a large aperature. It seems a greater depth of field would have been appropriate for this land/seascape? You had plenty of light source to really drop that aperature down. So that is a question. I need a more experienced person to see this because it does not even look like you shot this at 3.6... I am not doubting your setting listed below...I am looking moreso for education.
I think the dark pennisula at top right was likely because there just was not any light over there.
Your captured a beautiful scene and beautiful color. Nice job.

I like the photo, even with the hill not having much visible detail. I had a play with it (hope you don't mind). Straightened the horizon, added some warmth and a light vignette....(Also tried it in black and white but it looked better in colour)

cklfc0,
Could you please re-post that picture, i'd like to see it.
Geotography,
The reason i shot at f/3.6 was to get use of a high shutter speed so i could freeze the wave, or lack there of.
I like the photo to be frozen as it was, rather than looking like its moving from slight motion blurs.
Though this is just my opinion, i guess some people could think completely differently.

roll.4.life,
Thanks for explaining your decision. The photo is really growing on me. How low of a shutter speed do you think you could have come down to to freeze the ocean motion?

I would say i could've taken it down to around 1/800, the wind was blowing really quickly from the sea in to the shore, so the waves were coming in quite rapidly.
Thankyou for the Critique.

Other than being tilted a little to the left, I think it's a great shot.
