Hi all,
This is the second of three photos i'll post for critique over these three days.
I really like this picture because it signifies to me the first beach i went to in my life, and when i started to take photos i really, really wanted this exact photo.
So when we were on Holidays (my family and i), i decided to shoot it.
I really like the way it turned out, i'd just like some guidance as to how i could possibly make it better.

roll.4.life,

Excellent post, thanks for understanding the need for information in Critique. Even with the title, I'd consider showing a little more ocean at right side, either by zooming out and right a little, or backing up some. And align (level) the horizon.

Lowering your horizon, and panning right would uncenter your two strong dividers, and place them nearer your thirds intersects, creating a more pleasing image.

The emerald, turquoise and rust colors are terrific together. You saw a fine scene; isn't it a thrill to have that for a lifetime to enjoy? Good work.

I don't know if it is possible, but I would love to see how it would look at sunset or sunrise. Very nice shot!!!

I agree with everything Jiminy said here. The first thing I noticed is the rock on the left is massive and throws the picture a little off balance. Second thing was the horizon is not level. Not sure, but I don't think that those were the two things you wanted someone to notice first!

Thanks for the Critique.
Hopefully we visit this beach again sometime in the near future, so i can play with the ideas you've given.
And, the sunset is behind this beach so i don't think it would be a good idea to shoot it like that, and i'm really not a morning person, i don't get out of bed before about 10-11 on holidays, so sunrise is out of the question :D
