Pretty. Just for fun try turning it head on instead of that slight angle and a pure black (not grayish) background. The way the subject is lit renders a glare that I think detracts from the image...so change the lighting. At that aperture, you should be able to shoot in fairly low light. Lastly, try placing the piece centered upon the right vertical third line to open up the photo.
