I took this pick recently, when i saw one of my old, faithful pair of jeans lying crumpled up and neglected in a pile. I cant decide weathe the streaking effect in the far left detracts from the shot, or gives it a more weathered and rugged feel. Im not exactly sure what created, but it wasnt PP.

Regarding the streaking effect, I have seen similar on some of my pictures, like this one (view larger on Flickr to see what I mean):

I think it is down to quirks in how the light comes through the lens. I don't think it hurts your image - if anything, it looks like the kind of textures that people often apply in post-processing. Bump up the colour and contrast of the foreground a bit and it will be even less noticeable.

Thank you for your help Jiminy, i never knew how to display that EXIF information before.

Thanks for your comment wulf, i keep thinking it was, possibly motion blur that made it streak like that. But only part of that photo of streaked, and half in clear focus. Is it possible to do that, with an stationary object, and a stationary background? I was actually shootting hand held with a 2/5 shutter speed, so i was expecting some motion blur, but was suprised to find the photo fairly still. It could also be how the light was coming in the lense, because i had roof lights directly above me which could have somehow created the patterns. Thanks for your comment.
