the only difference i think i would now do is a lower ISO, maybe an fstop of 4ish... and obviously a slightly longer exposure to combat that :)
Well done.
Looks like you had your main light coming in from camera right, maybe above the eyes.
I wonder if you might have gotten a little more light on the other side of your subject's face with a reflector, or by moving your flash a few degrees closer to the camera. I like the sidelight effect, but the darker side is a maybe a shade darker than it needs to be.
I can't see any ISO noise -- but that is probably because your photo shows up so small here. Whatever may be the merits of frames elsewhere, they don't tend to work very well here. You have a space limit, and while I haven't done the geometry, I would say that you have devoted over 1/2 to your frame.

Excellent job except for one thing, the shadow on her face. i dont know where you had your lighting set up but it look slike its from above and with her hat on it gave her a shadow accross her face.
Otherwise this is a great photo. The clothing she is wearing stands out wonderfully against the background and she has a million dollar smile

thanks very much for the comments! :) much appreciated. it does seem that the frame has takes up too much space but if you click on the image, it takes you to the page hosting it, and there is a bigger version there :)
ta very much for your comments will think about adding a soft light on the other side next time :)

hey ta for comments, the light was above her face and to the camera right well spotted :) there wasnt another light there this was just a large softbox. It seems to be coming down on top of her cause in this frame, she was kneeling so that may also detract from the light setup but something to note in the future to add extra light :P
thanks very much for your feedback seems constant feedback on this lighting needs maybe a soft light on the other side just to brighten it up a bit.

True, but don't forget that you must reckon with the lazy reviewer. Every extra step I have to take to review your photo is one more reason to skip to the next photo.
