opal image

Hi all, would love your comments on this image and help with doing something with it to make if less of a catalogue shot, go crazy with it ,but keep the opal colours the same.
This is the image straight from the camera,
I am only just starting to use all the manual controls of my camera , sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't.

I just wanted to ask if you have joined flickr or another free photo hosting site.
We are trying to keep from having attachments on the site.
If you look at www.Flickr.com they have free hosting and works very well with this site. Takes just a moment to upload and post to DPS.

I took a look at the shot and think the colors are amazing. Whats your set up on these shots. I see you have a few like this. DO you use a lightbox? WHat lighting equipment are you using. THe data you gave is sufficient the only other thing would be to include ISO.
