Default Mmm Yummi

Hi, I was working late and my cat decided to join me and sat on a black chair, then I wanted to make some low key pictures from her and this is the result, what do you think about it?, do you like the composition? All comments are welcome.
No post production, picture is as it was taken.
Thanks.

That looks yummi

Thumbs up

Very nice momentum captured.
I would have centered the subject a little bit, but its just my point of view.

Well done!!!

Thank you Eduafe for your comment, I really appreciate it.

This is my first post and even after reading the rules, I wasn't sure on what specific questions I should make about this picture, I like the picture and the composistion, however the best way to improve is to be open fo the critics (good and bad), so please let me know what do you think of the picture the good and the bad, I would really appreciate all your comments.

Thanks

Welcome athriax, IMO there are two points to observe, 1.- the ears are missing 2.- The neck is too long
If you crop part of the neck it would be better
Thanks Art

I actually really enjoy the composition, the missing ears don't bother me at all. I do think a small amount could be shaved off of the bottom but other than that good job!

Thank you guys for your comments, I will try to crop the picture to shorten the neck area.
Much appreciated!!!

Anyone else? All the feedback is most welcome.
Thanks.

Very nice shot. I personally raised my eye brows when you said it was SOOC...very nice. I am very partial to having the subject off to one side of the frame such as it is here. As for the suggested crop, I'd like to see how it turns out, but like it as is. If I were to PP this, i probably would dodge the eyes very slightly to make them pop, but would make it very subtle...

...overall, if i'd taken this, i'd be framing that bad boy. Nicely done.

Looks good. The black fur came out nice. I like where it is as far as off center but I would like to see the ears in the frame. Good job.

I'd probably add a bit to the tongue too. I think it would help emphasize the expression a bit.
