I put in a high percentage of keepers because so many of them are technically ok if not good. But in truth it's only a very small percentage that "work" and besides, who wants to look at similar shots of whatever. The hard part is picking the one out of 20 or so excellent shots that is in fact the best one.

Last night I worked with a model and made 72 exposures of which probably 65 are just fine. Here it is a little easier, since it's easy to reject the ones where the expression is not quite right, but in the end I know I want to trim it down to only 5 or 6 as true "keepers."
