At the risk of sounding rude, I am wondering why you would want to make any adjustments to this image. You essentially have a very high contrast image with just a few mitones in the sky and street. You could work with the levels a bit to see if you could make something interesting happen in the midtone area, but even if you could you are dealing with a somewhat lackluster composition.
Now, having been somewhat cruel in my assessement I will add one positive note: this is how photographers learn; by experimenting and taking chances. I'm glad you took this chance even if the image didn't come up to standards. Next time you take a chance like this you may find you have hit a home run and people will wonder at your prowess with a camera. That's how it usually goes.
