Very good eyes: in an effort to find the dark brown, details did start to show up. Mostly I guessed at what the shapes and colors might be. And it would be your left, correct.
Thanks for allowing the practice. I use Adobe PhotoDeluxe, so if you use PhotoShop, it'll be tough to give steps. Basically you will add a layer of gray as Darken, 30% Opacity. Select and Delete, or Erase, face to leave Original as is. Adjustment is tight, trying to lose the "too white", but not get too gray.
Eyes are on a separate layer, Lightened (different from "Brighten"), Contrasted, Lightened again, Color Balance to more Red, a little Green, eventually some hint of brown comes out.
Whites are made less blue with some Lighten, Contrast, a little Magenta.
Experiment in these areas, it is different in PhotoShop.
