I might suggest a couple of things here. First, you have a bit of an exposure problem. I think I could live with the washed out background, at least it is an interesting shape, but the bridge of your models nose is also overexposed and it is really important when you are in this tight for the exposure to be spot on. Second, your model is looking down and to her left leaving a lot of white showing. I think you may have been better off if she were looking level and a bit more to her right, though not directly at the camera. Haivng her look directly at the camera would have completely changed the 'feeling' of the composition. Moving to level and just a bit to the right would expose more of her iris and give you a chance to emphasize the feature that drew you to this image in the first place.
