i selected the butterfly and put it in another layer and enlarged it a bit. using the rubber stamp tool, i erased the insect on the background layer and selected a portion of the sock and used liquify to stretch it. i removed the skin on the stretched sock. went back to the background layer to add skin downwards and darkend it a little to give perspective and shadow. moved the butterfly at the top of the stretched sock. removed some of the stones on the ground to make the butterfly more visible and flattened it.
