I agree with zona 100%.

The rule of thirds probably gets used in photography more than any other compositional aid. In portraiture this is especially true, because the eyes in a portrait should be placed 1/3rd of the way down from the top. In your portrait they are virtually centered as I have shown below. In portraiture virtually anything that is straight up and down, or centered or level will make the image boring.
