These are some shots of the Walton County Historic Courthouse. It's located in the heart of Monroe, Georgia. It was built in 1883, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Walton County is named after George Walton one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence from the state of Georgia. Because of growth in the county, a new courthouse has been built in another location, which is why it is called the historic courthouse. It is difficult to shoot because of huge oak trees surrounding the grounds.
