3 other posters have mentioned that this is the technique they use. That makes 4 with me. On top of that, 3 of those posts included outside ressources. That makes 7 people. 7:1 seems a bit one-sided, no?

(sidenote: I've taken a look through your flickr stream. This must be a case of "Do as I say, not as I do". If you had a makeup artist for those shoots, you need to fire him/her and get a new one. That, preferably, isn't blind.)
