Or, if you are shooting on a cropped sensor body, try a shorter lens. For this kind of shoot, I love my 17-40 f4L. Not only is it sharp L glass but it is relatively inexpensive. It is something to consider.
Oh, and since I got my 5D, the 17-40 is an absolutely remarkable lens in the right situations. Talk about super-wide -- nothing like I ever experienced on my 40D. Yikes, I'm falling in love all over again.
