A great start and it is an excellent b&W subject.
Following is my edited version, using my limited skills with Photoshop. I don't know if you have editing software, but this is what I did:
1. I adjusted the Levels (or light distribution histogram), to get full blacks and whites and the needed contrast just popped out.
2. I cropped off the garage door on the LHS. The light concrete wall then finishes around the third point and draws in the eye.
3. I had a rough go at getting rid of the sunspot near the top
And added a black edge (by increasing the "canvas" size by 3 pixels in black) which always seems to enhance B&W posts!
