David has definitely given you some first class advice. Getting a new body or new glass, while tempting, won't necessarily be what you need. Work on your technique and style. Learn to see your subject in your mind's eye...see what light can do...etc. Improve yourself before thinking of improving your equipment (if you even need to). I wish I had paid attention to this kind of advice early on.
