I agree. The eye is drawn to the neck and chest area because of the light. I think the face could be a bit more exposed. The shadows on her face kind of detract from the portrait. Maybe crop in a little more on the face and lighten up the shadows somehow. Otherwise, the pose is nice. I like the way she's looking slightly out of frame.
I no expert, so take my advice as such. I think it's a nice shot with a lot of potential.
