I adjusted the highlights, shadows, midtones. I dropped backlighting because I felt the background was too bright. Then I used some contrast just a bit, and sharpened his face only just a little bit. Then I brightened up the foreground a little.Then crop of course.
I'm new to this stuff, (about a year now), so what I did wasn't anything spectacular, but it does make me feel good to hear you like what I tried.
I agree that his body should be turned a bit more toward camera. You can't change that now, only for future shoots! Live and Learn! I'm having a blast learning! I hope you are too!
