This reminded me of some old family slides I was going through recently, so I tried to give it a bit of a worn look.
In Paint Shop Pro:
- Adjusted the color balance of the original image.
- Made two copies on separate layers.
- On the first layer, increased the sharpness of the mountain areas and adjusted the levels to somewhat overexpose the image.
- On the second layer, added motion blur toward the right to the leafy foreground areas and applied gaussian blur to the entire image, adjusted the levels to overexpose this layer as well.
- Set the second layer to Multiply.
- Added a levels adjustment layer and refined the contrast.
- Added saturation adjustment layer with a circular gradiant fill to reduce the saturation around the edges of the image.
- Added a couple of picture frames and adjusted their visibility to add some flaws around the edges.
- Added a white border.
