Wow. Just...wow. I tend to agree with the other assessments; she's just looking for something to complain about in hopes of getting a discount. I think the pictures you took are really good.
DO NOT release the copyrights to your images. I can't believe the other photographer even suggested such a ridiculous idea. Unbelievable!
And the fact she brought her camera to take pictures while you were...sheesh! That reminds me of a wedding I went to not too long ago. The bride's father had his camera (he had nice gear) out snapping pictures (at least a couple hundred, which is a funny story in and of itself) while the hired photographer was trying to work as well. Very disrespectful if you ask me.
I think you have the right ideas for trying to resolve the situation. Stick with it. Try and come to some sort of (new) resolution. If not, you have the original contract, and she's legally bound to it. I hope all this gets straightened out for you. Once it does, stay away from her! Haha.
