Default A Picture From My Lightbox

I recently had made myself a lightbox to save myself a little money. I was giving it a go today, and this is one of the shots I got:

Daisy B&W

EXIF Info:
Camera: Canon Rebel XS/1000D
Lens: Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Focal Length: 100mm
Aperture: f/5
Shutter: 1/100s
ISO: 200

Now, I did make a curves adjustment to lighten up the background, and I did do a little bit of painting on parts of the background to make it all a uniform white. Other than that and the black and white conversion, this is straight from camera.

So, my biggest questions would be on lighting and the background. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, but what do you all think?

Thanks!
