That depends entirely on the lens/body combination at hand and what you would consider a DSLR

If you want to get technical, the Nikon 24-70 was created with digital in mind. I then consider it a DSLR lens. However, using it on any recent film SLR is perfectly fine. Works perfectly. Even some of the later film bodies kept VR!
