You get to shoot the first three songs of the first set only..no flash is allowed. Period!
After which, if you have a ticket, you put turn your camera into a secured area to be stored (kind of like a hat/coat check in room) then you can watch the remainder of the show. I've done that before, but also slipped the guy $20.00 to make sure the gear is still there when I return.
As for a press pass, the local paper should make sure there is a media pass to shoot the band at the will call window. A normal ticket will not allow you to shoot the concert.
