I was downtown Ann Arbor 2 days ago taking pictures. I didn't know I would be out for so long and had no intention of taking pictures at night. I however decided to give the high ISO of the 5D Mark II a try since I have not yet really done any testing with it. These were all shot at 6400 Hand Held. The first image has just a touch of noise reduction done post processing (since I liked this picture best). The rest are straight from the camera with no noise reduction enabled.
I must say I am very impressed especially over my old XTi. While shooting at 6400 ISO is usually not ideal unless you are looking for grain, it's certainly usable in a pinch.
